SO WE REACHED BACK OUT TO THE AZTECS CLUB. THEY PROVIDED THE $3,600 FOR THE FLOOD STUDY AND IT WAS APPROVED. AND WE SENT THAT TO THE TOWN OF FRONT ROYAL. AT THIS TIME, THE TOWN HAS APPROVED THE PERMIT. SO PRESENTLY THE PERMIT IS IN OUR BUILDING COMMITTEE, OUR BUILDING DEPARTMENT FOR APPROVAL. SO, UH, WE WENT OUT AND DID ESTIMATES. THE FIRST ESTIMATE CAME IN AT $96,000. UH, THE CLUB STATED THAT THE ONLY HAD $50,000 TO DO THE PROJECT. THAT'S MY MAIN CONCERN. UM, I HAVE A NUMBER OF CONCERNS, UH, ABOUT, YOU KNOW, MAINTENANCE AND UPKEEP. UM, WE'VE SEEN A LOT OF EVIDENCE FROM OTHER SHORT-TERM RENTALS ON THE MOUNTAIN, IN THE AREA, UM, THE TRASH ALL ACROSS THE YARDS, UM, PARTIES, WE SAW ONE PARTY THAT MUST'VE HAD AT LEAST LIKE 200 PEOPLE, NOT 200, BUT, UH, SOMETHING LIKE THAT. PEOPLE SPILLING OUT OF THE HOUSE ONTO THE STREETS, PEOPLE ON SLIP AND SLIDES GETTING DRUNK. JUST MANY OF THEM LOOKED UNDERAGE. IT JUST, THERE'S JUST VERY LITTLE CONTROLLED THAT I EXPECT THAT THIS OWNER IS GOING TO HAVE OVER THE BEHAVIOR OF THE PEOPLE WHO ARE RESIDING IN THIS HOME. WE HAVE NO CONTROL OVER THAT. AND, YOU KNOW, THE THOUGHT CAME UP, WHAT ARE WE LOSING BY NOT HAVING A STABLE NEIGHBOR AND PEOPLE ON THE MOUNTAIN HELP EACH OTHER OUT? WE BORROW EQUIPMENT, WE TOW EACH OTHER OUT WHEN WE GET STUCK IN THE SNOW. UM, YOU KNOW, WE, OUR KIDS MIGHT EVEN HAVE ANOTHER FAMILY TO GROW UP, UH, NEXT DOOR TO IF SOMEBODY WAS TO OWN THE PROPERTY, RATHER THAN HAVING A REVOLVING DOOR OF UNPREDICTABLE RENTERS, UM, JUST IN AND OUT. THEY WILL ADDRESS THOSE TYPES OF AREAS FOR CLEANING. IF YOU'RE, IF YOU'RE ASYMPTOMATIC, IF YOU'RE SYMPTOMATIC, WE'RE GOING TO TEST, RIGHT. UM, WE WANT TO, UH, BRING BACK MASK WEARING FOR COUNTY EMPLOYEES.
