WE HAD A PRESENTATION, IT WAS VERY GREAT.

UM, ON THE 10TH, ALSO, THERE WAS A BUMP, A MEETING THAT DID GET CANCELED, BUT, UH, I WAS PREPARED TO GO ON THE 11TH.

THERE WAS ANOTHER BOARD OF SUPERVISORS MEETING ON THE 12TH.

THERE WAS A PLANNING COMMISSION MEETING AND ON THE 12TH ALSO, UH, THERE WAS A BREAKFAST MEETING WITH A CONSTITUENT AND ALSO ON THE 12TH.

UH, I ALSO VISITED THE SCHOOL SYSTEM AND THE TRANSPORTATION DEPARTMENT JUST TO CATCH UP ON WHERE THEY WERE.

SO THAT PERIOD OF TIME, I HAD A VERY BUSY TIME.

SO, UH, I APPRECIATE IT.

AND I JUST WANT TO EXTEND OUR, THANK YOU TO ALL LAUREN LAW ENFORCEMENT FOR, UM, THE JOB THEY DO PUT IN THEIR FAMILY.

SECOND AND US FIRST, A LOT OF TIMES I'M OUT IN THE WEATHER THAT WE'VE HAD THE LAST COUPLE OF DAYS, IS IT ESPECIALLY TRYING? SO WE DO APPRECIATE YOU ALL.

I ALSO WANT TO THANK OUR PUBLIC WORKS PARK AND REC STAFF, SOLID WASTE STAFF FOR THE WORK THEY DID PLOW ON ROADS AND THE SANITARY DISTRICT PARKING LOTS AND THEIR CONVENIENT SITES.

UM, THIS WAS A NASTY SNOW EVENT TO DEAL WITH.

AND, UM, I RODE THE ROAD YESTERDAY AND I THINK THEY'VE DONE A DARN GOOD JOB WITH WHAT THEY HAD TO WORK WITH OUT THERE.

SO WE APPRECIATE THEM AS WELL.

UH, ROAD REPORT FOR SOUTH RIVER, WITH THE TEMPERATURES.

THE TICE IS A TYPE OF SNOW AND ICE.

UH, I THINK IN THE WIND ON TOP OF IT, V DOT, UH, HAD THE MAIN ROADS IN GOOD CONDITION BY MID-AFTERNOON YESTERDAY, SECONDARY AND NON HERTZ, HARD SURFACE ROADS.

THEY WERE PASSABLE.

YOU MIGHT NOT WANT TO TRY THEM, BUT THEY WERE PASSABLE.

AND, UM, AS GOOD AS YOU COULD GET FOR THAT WEATHER CONDITION.

AND TODAY, I THINK THEY WERE IMPROVED WITH A LITTLE BIT OF RISE IN THE TEMPERATURES.

SO WE APPRECIATE EVERYTHING VIA IT DOES FOR US AS WELL.

WE HAVE, UM, THESE AIRBNB PROPERTIES IN, UM, FREDERICK COUNTY, SHENANDOAH COUNTY AND WINCHESTER CITY, AND WE HAVE A HIGH, HIGH REGULATION OVERSIGHT FOR THESE THAT WE INTEND TO, UH, IMPLEMENT AS WELL.

AND WARREN COUNTY PROVIDED THAT WE ARE APPROVED.

SO WE DON'T, UH, WE HAVEN'T HAD ANY ISSUES WITH ANY OF OUR PROPERTIES ANYWHERE.

AND AGAIN, IT'S LOCATED WITHIN THE FLOOD WAY.

UH, SO HE WILL HAVE THAT PART OF HIS PROPERTY MANAGEMENT PLAN FOR ANY EMERGENCY ACCESS LOCATED WITHIN SHANDO SHORES, POA THE LETTER THAT MR DISCUSSED, IT ACTUALLY ADDRESSED BOTH OF THESE APPLICATIONS, UM, AND THERE AT THAT TIME OPPOSITION AND THE JUST WHILE, WHILE I'M DISCUSSING IT BEFORE GO READ AND ALL THE CONDITIONS AS ARE THE SAME AS MR WINDLEY AND THE PREVIOUS APPLICATION.

BUT I JUST WANT TO MENTION ITS COMPATIBILITY WITH THE COMPREHENSIVE PLAN.

THIS PROPERTY IS ZONED R ONE, AND, UH, THIS SHORT-TERM TOURIST WEREN'T ALWAYS ALLOWED BY CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT PER THE ZONING ORDINANCE.

SO IT DOES FOLLOW THE COMP PLAN AND OUR PLANNING COMMISSION TYPICALLY STATES WITH THE SHORT-TERM RENTALS TO KIND OF FOLLOW UP ON THAT DISCUSSION IS HOW SUCCESSFUL THEY ARE, IS HOW THEY REHABBED A LOT OF TIMES OLDER HOMES THAT WERE MORE DARE LET AND THEY'VE IMPROVED THE NEIGHBORHOOD, BUT IT IS OBVIOUSLY NOT SUITABLE FOR ALL LOCATIONS, WHETHER IT BE HOA OR A TIGHT-KNIT COMMUNITY.

AND THE OTHER QUICK THING IS OBVIOUSLY IT IS CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT OF ALL THE APPROVED SHORT-TERM RENTALS.

WE'VE HAD ZERO COMPLAINTS AT THIS TIME.

IF WE DO RECEIVE COMPLAINTS, WE DO HAVE THE AUTHORITY TO, UM, COMMUNICATE WITH THE APPLICANT AND THE PROPERTY OWNER, AND BRING THAT TO YOU GUYS FOR TERMINATION, IF NEEDED, IF THEY VIOLATE ANY ZONING ORDINANCE THAT CONDITIONS OR STATE OR FEDERAL WALLS, WE DO HAVE THAT ABILITY.
