UH, THE CHAIRMAN AND VICE CHAIRMAN SHALL BE ELECTED BY THE MEMBERSHIP.

THE SECRETARY SHALL SERVE AT THE REQUEST OF THE COMMISSION AND MAY BE A MEMBER OF THE COMMISSION, AN EMPLOYEE OF WARREN COUNTY OR A CITIZEN VOLUNTEER.

UH, NOMINATIONS OF OFFICERS SHALL BE MADE FROM THE FLOOR AT THE BEGINNING OF JANUARY MEETING, UH, OF THE CURRENT YEAR, AND THIS YEAR BEING 2024 AND JANUARY, WE WILL BE DOING THAT THIS EVENING.

UH, CANDIDATE RECEIVING A MAJORITY OF THE VOTE OF THE ENTIRE MEMBERSHIP SHALL BE DE DECLARED ELECTED, AND TERMS OF OFFICE SHALL BE FOR ONE YEAR UNTIL THE SUCCESSOR TAKES OFFICE.

SO DID, UM, DOES IT SHOW THE ENTIRE PARKING LOT BEING UNPAVED OR, OR IS IT A PORTION OF THE ENTRANCE OR, I DIDN'T, WE, WE'VE DISCUSSED THIS.

I MEAN, PART OF WHAT WE WERE, WE, WE WERE LOOKING AT WITH THEM IS POTENTIALLY JUST HAVING THE, THE TRAFFIC AREAS WHERE THEY'RE PULLING IN, THEY'RE TURNING AROUND AND THEN PARKING, YOU KNOW, UH, WHERE THEY, BUT WHERE THEY PARKED THE VEHICLES THAT WOULD BE GRAVEL.

UM, BUT IN THAT TURNAROUND AREA WHERE THEY'RE, THEY'RE LITERALLY, YOU KNOW, THEY'RE PULLING IN, THAT IS WHAT WE WOULD LOOK AT BEING HARD SURFACE.

UH, IT'S SOMEWHAT OF A COMPROMISE AGAIN, BUT, UH, IF IT'D BE THE WILL OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION TO MOVE IT FORWARD TO HAVE IT ALL, UH, UH, ASPHALT, WE, WE CAN, YOU KNOW, ADD THAT AS A CONDITION AND, AND REMOVE CONDITION FIVE.

WELL, THE CONCERN THERE TOO WAS THE RAIN WE HAD YESTERDAY.

UM, I WENT BACK TO THE APPLICANT AND WE DISCUSSED SOME DIFFERENT OPTIONS.

WE DISCUSSED, UM, IT'S CALLED RECYCLED ASPHALT.

THAT'S MILLINGS.

SO WE TALKED ABOUT THAT.

UM, HAVING THAT PAVED, LIKE THE DRIVE, THE WHOLE DRIVE BEING PAVED, AND THEN THE PARKING AREAS TO BE GRAVEL.

UM, OR IF WE COULD DO THE RECYCLED ASPHALT, THEN WE WOULD BE ABLE TO PAVE THE WHOLE THING, THE, THE REASONING AND FROM, FROM OUR ENGINEER THAT THEY DID NOT WANT TO DO THE WHOLE THING.

TOPCOAT ASPHALT WAS BECAUSE OF THE WEAR WITH THE WEIGHT OF THE TRACTOR TRAILERS OVER TIME AND HOW IT'S JUST GOING TO, YOU KNOW, RUN INTO AND, AND CRUSH UP THE ASPHALT.

AND THAT'S WHY HE CHOSE TO GO WITH THE STONE TO BEGIN WITH.

BUT WE'RE OPEN TO ANY THOUGHTS THAT YOU WOULD HAVE IN MY COMPANY.

UH, WE'VE BEEN KIND OF BEATING THIS ONE FOR, SINCE 2018.

WE DID THE STRATEGIC PLAN AND THE SURVEY AND EVERYTHING.

UM, I, I HAVE, UM, BEEN, WELL, I SAY ON MONDAY I PARTICIPATED IN A, UH, PLANNING EXERCISE MEETING IN THE ROCKLAND AREA THAT WAS, UH, UH, HOSTED BY THE SHENDO ALLIANCE AND CITIZENS OF THE COMMUNITY.

UM, AND MS. LOGAN FROM THE REGIONAL COMMISSION AND MR. PETTY WERE THERE ALSO.

UM, SO WE ARE DOING SOME COMMUNITY OUTREACH IN REGARD TO THAT.

UH, THAT WAS, UH, REQUEST BY THE ROCKLAND COMMUNITY.

UM, SO WE GOT SOME VERY GOOD INFORMATION ON THAT.

AND WE WILL, UH, INCLUDE THAT IN SOME OF THE REVIEW, UH, IN SOME OF THE LANGUAGE THAT WE'RE LOOKING AT.

UM, THE REGIONAL COMMISSION LAST YEAR DID ASSIST US WITH DOING A LOT OF THE DATA MINING FOR THE DEMOGRAPHICS AND ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT.

AND SO WE WILL BE, UH, PUTTING THAT INTO THE PLAN THAT WE, WE SHOWED YOU WE'RE GONNA USE THEIR NUMBERS.
